“Whore!”
Okay, this was just too good to pass up. Along the trail to Cueva Ventana, aka Window Cave, we came upon a sign that read “puta.” For those who don’t know, puta is Spanish for “whore.”
It took us a minute to spot the backstory. Originally the sign said, “ruta,” meaning “route.” This way to the cave! But someone had given the R a makeover and turned it into a P. So naughty.
Anyways, it made for a good photo op. That’s Sean in the picture, looking stunned that the puta sign is pointing directly at him. Thanks Sean! I’ll never again hear the word puta without thinking of you.
